Good Evening,

I have applied for a role of an investigator which is currently available, anyone have any information on the recruitment process for such roles?

I am only at shortlisting stage so may not get anywhere near, but I am doing my research early. Do they do assessments like Constables as it's more of an administration job as oppose to being a regular officer does anyone know?

Many thanks

Are there any clues in the role/job description or person specification?

Some Forces do rely on assessment of competencies, similar to those of Police Officers, even for civilian roles.

I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be a fitness test for an admin job, but you would have to provide reveal any health issues etc.

Best thing is to give the recruitment team a call and ask them.

Good luck with the application BTW.
