  1. And what happens in the mean time whilst you wait for them? Leave members of the public at risk?

    Home Office Notebook

A standard PNB for all, was there a major issue with individual ones then? at the end of the day a PNB is just a like any notebook. No matter how many rules you put on how to write in it, mine is used for notes, briefing information and incident details. I've never done an MG11 in one as The Met have Evidence & Action Books which are useful and for everything else I have my iPad.

    It's back in November...
  4. Tell that to my local magistrates.
  5. I'm sure your trainers will tell you that what they teach is the gold standard and it won't be like that on the street. As for discussing current Officer Safety Techniques on a public forum... (Also don't arrest someone for assault police unless you are assaulted whilst using a piece of legislation, it's just a normal assault)

    Disobeying a lawful order

You can search somebody on someone else's behalf, as long as they justify the search then it's fine.
  7. The daily mail has a different spin on this. Seemingly asking for the Met Police officers on his protection team to be sacked...Shock! I do however believe that that is a load of old tosh. I think they have just spared blushes and his intention was to collide with the PM. Where's his gym kit?
  8. That's not Westminster, that's pretty much anywhere. Any commercial or obstructive filming is to be declared to the local authority/police
  9. This petition is almost useless as it's already been discussed at Government level. The answer is, and has been that it's an Operational decision for Police Forces to make. Forces say it's a monetary issue from the Government...vicious cycle.

    Taser

No, There are a certain number of response officers posted with Taser per shift. As for why not everyone has it. that's a question for the gods.
  11. This has been going on in London for a good few years now and luckily most people seem to have got the message as to not give bank details to anyone including police over the phone. You get the odd OAP getting conned now and again but the education has increased ten fold.
