Introduction day 19/11/12.

First day of training as a CPO in Nottinghamshire:

Reported to station 9:30am and joined the other 11 of my training group and my trainer. Spent most of the day looking at roles of CPO's, mission statements and everything we're going to cover over the next 7 weeks. Quick tour of the station meeting the different departments within the Community Protection family made up of CPO's PCSO's and Police all of which deal with different issues on a daily basis. A couple of talks from high ranking Police members about the role, funding, how things work and a welcome to the Police family. We sorted out any outstanding paper work or uniform that needed sorted and had a talk on keeping things confidential and what sorts of things will result in us losing out job or legal action. We're then briefed for what to expect tomorrow and we all left for home. Overall, a good day to get an idea of the stuff that's to come and the people we'll deal with whilst getting to know the people we're going to be training with.

First impressions: So much to learn about stuff that i had no idea existed!
