I'm really pleased to announce that the new PoliceSpecials.com tie pin is now available for immediate shipment! I am very pleased with them, they look excellent. The picture below doesn't do them justice!
![]() As you can see, it's a circular tie pin, about 25mm in diameter. The design features two police hats (male custodian and female bowler) with the words "UK SPECIAL CONSTABULARY" over the top, and "DEDICATION - COURAGE - INTEGRITY" underneath. The pin is available in two colours - gold or silver. You can specify which you'd prefer to receive. They cost £3 each. Another inflation busting price - it's the same as for the previous tie pins As with all PoliceSpecials.com merchandise, all profits from sales of the tie pins go towards the running costs of the site OK ok I'll buy one... or maybe a pair... What next? All our tie pin sales are now handled by Niton, allowing you to order over the phone or online, with quick delivery and great service. To order yours click here or give Niton a call on 01293 549858 quoting Niton item code 'PSPIN'. Power Users - to obtain your 20% discount, order the tie pin(s) as usual from Niton and then post a copy of your Niton bill to PoliceSpecials.com at our usual address. Alternatively scan it in and email it to me. You will receive a 20% refund of the price you paid (not including P&P), sent to you by cheque or PayPal. Don't forget to take a look at the PoliceSpecials.com Mug as well! |

as old as this topic is, i was just wondering if you have to be serving to order one of these pins, at niton states they wont sell anything branded with the word POLICE unless you issue them your warrant number but i am onlt in the process of training!

hi thanks for the reply, im not sure i got to the sales line 1 minute to late oh the irony.
anyway they said "Unfortunately we are currently unable to dispatch your order until we have spoken with you, please contact our Sales Department on 01293 549858 quoting your Online Transaction Number." i orded as my sig says, 2 tie pins, 1 special mug and a pair of magnum boots, but looking on the site i think its because i didnt see the option to select the colour (i didnt slect what colour pin) so i should imagine it is becuase of this! may i ask what colour you recommend i cant quite see what colour looks best! cheers This post has been edited by a.smith: Jul 24 2006, 6:13 PM |

Personally I think the silver one looks a little better, a little less pretentious.
However, why not buy the two and you can mix'n'match with your outfits? When Niton say they restrict the sale of 'Police' branded items, I'm pretty confident it wouldn't apply to tie pins or mugs in their catalogues. Those articles would not be enough to mislead member of public in the same way as clothing would, or blue lights etc etc. |

I ordered a silver tie pin and mug last night. I feel a bit geeky for some reason, especially since putting a PS.com desktop on my laptop.......spending too much time here maybe??.......bit addicted.......need help..........
Reason for edit - to add colour of tie pin, naturally silver, I don't do gold. This post has been edited by KateMarie: Aug 1 2007, 7:35 PM |
