- Basic question that... I was a
Special Constable for 11
years. The site is for and about Special Constables.

- Good, on the whole. More here.

it? |
- The site is mine, an entirely private enterprise.
I write it all, do the web page design, and run the site. There
are a number of fine people helping me to run
the forum too.

- I pay all the fees such as web hosting. If you like the site and

- You are welcome to link to
PoliceSpecials.com. I only link to other sites if
a) they have a strong police/special constabulary theme and
supplement the material already available here, or b) I

How is this site promoted or
advertised? |
- I don't advertise - can't afford it! I rely on
word of mouth. The usefulness of the site is
directly related to the number of people who visit. So
email your
friends - thanks!

Can you help me with my homework / project / thesis
about the police? |
- The site has loads of info about
Specials and police work. I may be able to
help with specific requests, but
asking me is no substitute for doing your own
research... tsk, kids
today eh, don't know they're born.

- All the info I have is on the site, I have nothing I can
post out. For recruitment information or
application forms, contact either your local
police force or national police recruitment. Details

- I occasionally swap tie pins, drop
me a line and let me know what you have. I don't
trade or sell uniform items, but some sites
here might. Other

- None of your business. For obvious reasons, I
don't share details of my private life unless I know who I'm
