It looks like your face may have been many years ago, but not now. I trust you will have another packet of biscuits for when you are next up in my neck of the woods.

You're more than welcome to join the crew.
As for jobs, we have nightshift crow's nest, deck-swabber or Polly's cracker counter.
Rations are 1/2 bottle of rum and 3 strips of salted beef per day. And all the biscuits you can eat.

The coolest station would be in the Blue Toon as it is first to get hit by the icy artic winds blown in by siberian goat herders.
The hottest being Laurencekirk as it is furthest south and traditionally 30 degrees warmer than anywhere else in Grampian. Hence the reason why the local cops are all issued with dayglo "Borat" style thongs.
If you want Hot Fuzz style action, try Ballater as there is a rumour that Mrs Miggins from the But 'n' Ben is riding her pushbike after dark with no lights. Definitely a pursuit coming up there.
Nigg is a good place to work as it covers Torry which is traditionally Brown on the Monopoly board.
Alternatively you could try for the CCU at Queen Street as it has all the potential for a 3 minute clip for a Street Crime UK special.
Good luck.

Thought I'd pop in and say hello but still no-one at home. I suspect you are all out Guarding, Watching Patrolling etc. Do you want me to switch off the light before I leave.
Regards.
P.S. Can't find the biscuits John, where are they hidden?

Ive not even got my foot in the door Murraymint yet so I am out doing none of the above unfortunately! By default, that means I cannot be blamed for munching all the bickies.
Definately pretty quiet in here like!

Never mind Karen. Just make sure once you complete your application process that you get issued a key for the bickie cupboard along with your uniform.

All newbies, notwithstanding their allegiances to Kit-kats, whereof, therafter and so forth, hereby and notwithstanding, pursuant unto any other subsection thereupon, shall stock said cupbaord with a variety of choccie biccies AND fancy pieces (except Cinnamon cakes -yeuch!!).
Trust that clarifies matters.

I was made aware of forum rule 23345987 when I joined. The reason I was looking for the biscuit cupboard was because I went into Mitchell & Muill (I think they are still called that) and bought a big bag of fancies and a pack of chunky Kit-Kats to leave for the boys and girls for their tea, but as I didn't know where the cupboard was to leave them I took them home again, as I thought if I left them out someone from another force would come into our forum and nick the lot.
Sorry if I gave the impression I was looking to eat some of yours.
As for Gentleman at large, I agree with the Large but gentleman, come on!

Just ahd the word that my Specials application was successful! Due to start training early october. Really excited and can't wait to start the training and the job. How long roughly does the training take?
Will probably be working at Bucksburn station at least for a while.
Hopefully will be meeting some of you soon,

Welcome aboard.
Sure it is done over 6 weekends with a couple of midweek evenings as well, but I stand to be corrected (said the man in the orthapeadic shoes)

Neil - my top tip for shifting the gut is
www.britmilfit.com - Ive just joined a few weeks ago and def starting to feel the benefits already and nothing beats a bit of rolling around in the mud at the Duthie Park a few times a week!
Its so much more sociable than the gym!
Im currently applying to be a special and just waiting on date for fitness test so def needed to do something about raising the fitness levels and BMF = perfect choice.

Hi all,
I too am currently in the application process for Grampian Specials, and I am also in the process of trying to shift the gut (so you can keep your biccys). Its a race against time I need to lose as much weight as possible before I get my medical date.
This one fingured typing really drops the pounds off!!!!

0.00003 calories or something ridiculous like that is the calorie count for clicking the mouse.
So to burn off a big mac, you'll need to click your mouse somewhere in the region of 13.5 million times.
Perhaps.
