Hi there,

I have just sent off my Volunteer Police Cadet application to SusPol. I'm quite nervous. I explained about life experience relevant to crime, I explained my interest in general policing, the Police Service, and general aspects of the law.

Wouldn't have a clue. Sent it off to the Neighbourhood Policing Branch (through e-mail)? I live in Littlehampton so I'm guessing Bognor or Worthing, but not sure?

Well done mate! Hopefully you will be susesfull and go on to make a great cadet. I have recently passed my interview and am starting cadets in November. Once again good luck to you and keep your hopes up

Hi mate I am ex suspol cadet at the unit you will be in if your littlehampon way

If you are sucessful like George has said you love every minute of it, get the most out of it as you can such as test purchasing etc it really is a great experience and helped with the role I am in now within the police service

Next stage if your application form passes intial screening should be an interview, however it was a few years ago I had my interview so it might of changed

Edit: word of adivce take off the sussex police logo in your signature, it may be portrayed to any journalists that may be viewing this site that you are expressing the views of sussex police and your not, and also the force itself frowns upon it because PSD watch these forums.
