It's been rather quiet around here of late. Anyone got any new plans (within or outside of the police) in 2008?

I'm gonna be going on my very first plane journey this August!

For me, a new job is on the cards. Still being IT Monkey, just in a different place.

As for me I think aim of the year will be to become IP Status with the help of my tutor I think I will aim for the regs in 2009/2010 - time to get saving

We also have some big changes in Surrey to look forward to mainly the BCU restructure but also on a more local level indidual officer moves to new stations.

No I'm going to the Canary Islands (link) - this is the villa we are renting! If I can afford it I may do NYC as well, just have to see how it goes!

As for tutoring, I'm moving to Walton so we'll have to come up with a plan. I have no doubt you'll be independent during the year. I'll give you a ring later .

Absolutely. I'm bringing one back with me from mumsys. ETA - tomorrow! Won't last long. I might have to save Sailor some.. it is his birthday afterall.. and he might give me nasty duties if I don't.
