Hi, new to all this.
Was wandering as a special constable is it then easier to become a police constable? I'm looking to apply to be a special at Kent police as I really want to join the MET police. Would this be a good platform to more job opportunites within the force?
Thanks

Well as a Special you're going to be doing the same job, therefore you'll have lots to cite in the Regular's interview and you'll know all about the Assessment Day(s). Although this is the Tayside Police section, not Kent!
But irregardless of where you are, I would say yes, it would be. Although you could do anything else in the same sort of field and get the same experiences to draw on. It just depends on what you want to do.

Shows how keen you are if not anything else. And that wont hurt!
