And I must say the lady on the other end of the phone was very friendly too. I doubt I'll get in as I'm still working on various qualifications and things that would hopefully improve my chances, but I suppose it's worth a go.
But yes, I believe the deadline is May 15th, or around that time.
Good luck ladies and gentlemen!

Good luck - Regular or SC?
I would think Regular as it is titled "City looking for coppers" and after a little investigation work on the policecouldyou website, I can confirm that it is Regulars

I just applied to the City Police and for some reason I can't stop quivering! I tell thee, my heart jumped into my mouth when I saw the recruitment thing on Police Could You.

qualifications have nothing to do with improving your chances of getting in , its how you fill out the application form and do at the assesment centre.

Why not give recruitment a call, and tell them? They're a friendly lot and you've nothing to lose by trying!

to be fair if you have recived a form contact them telling them i was damaged filled in wrong they might give you permission to tip-ex or send a replacementWhoops! Made a few errors on the form, might not be applying after all. It's amazing the mistakes you make when you start filling in forms on autopilot.

It's not on my competency questions, just on the details bits, liking putting the wrong thing in the wrong box. I'm going to show it to one of my lecturers to get their opinion on whether I should send it in or not. Either way, we live and learn!

I notice their website says they've had an overwhelming response and have stopped giving anymore apps out.

Already did that, they said I should cover it over with a blank piece of paper. So I shall conceal my mistakes with a cunning use of continuation sheets!

might be worth scanning and reprinting your own blank version, as long as your upfront about it i cant see a problem, i did it with a security form for a job i was doing
