Just a stab in the dark. Is anyone taking part in the mens health survival of the fittest this year in London on the 17 November?

Hello all.
Just a stab in the dark. Is anyone taking part in the mens health survival of the fittest this year in London on the 17 November?
Very much considering it...

Out of interest, what kind of workouts are people doing on a daily basis?
Not enough...

It's a bit wordy but it explains stuff in simple terms without getting overly complex. It's a good way to start exercise and it can be done without a gym if you've got about £80 to shell out for equipment, a lot cheaper than a gym membership.

Getting back on the cardio train!
Same here, need to lace up the runners again. But for tonight it is interval training using a skipping rope and a kettlebell.

Would anyone be able to tell me if this would be a good distance to lose weight from 17.7 stone? with a good diet.
Well that depends, if you are running it: then probably.
If you are driving it in your car whilst munching on a kfc: then probably not.

Anyone got any good advice for a training programme to help me lose weight and tone up?

Vice versa for strength and muscle gains.

The way I work it is 3 x cardio + 2 x weights sessions per week when focusing on "cutting".
Vice versa for strength and muscle gains.
How would I focus on "cutting"?

Cocentrate on cardio, create a calorie defecit from your basal metabolic rate (google will bring up a few calculators to find out your BMR) and clean your diet up
Ah so the basic sort of thing. I thought you were talking about something more specific.
