Marty organised it, we're called PS19. 'We' haven't done anything for well over a year!

If anyone is interested in large organised games let me know, my brother and cousin run a company called Stirling Airsoft, www.stirlingairsoft.com and are able to use some exceptional sites, Catterick Garrison and Copehill Down FIBUA villages, they also have sites in Spain and Wales. Take a look at the website some great pictures and game links etc.

I havent played for a long time but i love it and they do some cracking stuff.

I'd be interested in this. Only done paintballing a few times though. How does a 'newbie' get started in something like this?

quite easy just go to a airsoft site and just try it for the day it is the same as paintballing but without the mess and is an honor based game and the weapons that you would use are similar to real firearms apart from that they fire 6mm BB pellets

any questions just PM me

Same, I'd be interested, I'm a noob, apart from a crud spring mp5 and g17 I used to have. I get the feeling that they wouldn't be suitable. :D

What loadout did PS19 use? :prone:

Airsoft are classed as RIFs so you need a 'good reason' to buy one, such as being a member of a recognised airsoft club, it's only an offence for the retailer to sell, not to own so no you don't need a licence.

Aah i see, i presumed you had to have one, that's what i read somewhere. I used to go with the cadets on "just for fun" shootouts. was quite good fun. I still have my weapon somewhere, not really any use to me anymore, problem is getting rid of it into good hands, cant exactly put them up for sale online anymore :prone:

Just for those that don't know:

RIF: Realistic imitation of an actual firearm

There seem to be quite regular amnestys for replica weapons in London, alternatively, I think that there is a register for proper airsofters.
