In reality, this may take longer (say 30 weeks elapsed) as courses are not held over some weeks, such as Christmas, Easter and periods of holiday absence.
Failure to make any of the sessions will mean you'll have to do them at a later time, and may risk that you have to fall back to the next intake, so it's worthwhile trying all you can to do to attend, given the obvious investment being made in new recruits by the force!

At the end of this, you are then released to your station as an active probationer, where you can expect to spend hopefully no more than 18 months tops progressing to complete your SOLAP and become independent!
