i also heard talk that they might be adding an extra weekend of IT training! one weekend of it was enough for me!!

3 or 4 of my intake were based at Central, all of whom have now left.........Finishing University was the main factor I think

That must leave the other 40% for us at Newark!! :-)
We had 'official word from above' on Friday that all new intakes (from April I think it was) will now take the full fitness test as per regular recruits.
we had 10 weekends in total. 8 then 40 hours then 2 more. sorry to be picky!

Jazzypizzle do you actually remember any of that training weekend.....sure you slept through it all

So the fitness test is now part of the recruitment process- Good, one more thing to bring us in line with the Regulars
Agree with that one, Iv just joined A Div mansfield, I am in training at the min module 2..

Hi
Is the situational judgement test part of PIRT? ie you do the role plays, multi choice numerical test etc.
They currently have my app form so just wondering what kind of thing I would be doing next, especially if it's changed.

- A numerical reasoning test lasting 12 minutes
- A verbal logical reasoning test lasting 25 minutes
- Two written exercises lasting 20 minutes each

Two of the specials i have spoken to in Newark area said they did not have to take any of the maths test.Are there no:
- A numerical reasoning test lasting 12 minutes
- A verbal logical reasoning test lasting 25 minutes
- Two written exercises lasting 20 minutes each

Really? My alarm bells started going off when i saw maths test. I have never been good at maths.I can confirm there is no maths test and verbal logical reasoning test. I passed assessment centre in February and there was only 1 written exercise and the situational judgement test and interview.
