Nice one! I remember my uniform fitting, when I tried the custodian on I couldn't take it off fast enough, I felt like a fraud wearing something so iconic...
It makes me look a little silly! I think I'm too short to wear one of those!

And also not forgetting the other two DSOs who are not members of this forum.
I admit I did wonder what the eck was going on when my name was called out.
Good to see everyone turned out smart even though we thought it was for a different reason.![]()
Absolutely. just didn't mention either of them as they don't lurk here.... well at least I think so.

OK then, in short, the commendations were for leadership awarded to the SO and 3 DSOs of East Dorset and for my work in developing and running SC lead ANPR based operations.
I didn't recieve a commendation, but I was praised for clapping well at the ceremony.

I heard your clapping , and must say it was very commendable and I think you're special, in your own misguided way

Thanks, that means alot coming from you, but I'm just an ordinary person, just trying to do the best I can.
It's nice to be important but it's important to be nice.

Speaking of Big Lumps, thought you did very well being the big lump behind the wicket yesterday, Reg9. there wasn't much that made it past you, as you stopped it with one part or another of your vast anatomy.
Kettle, pot, black!!! to the man with Douglas Bader's legs!
We were awesome!!! Although the Dorset Police Conurbation Allstars did beat us, just!
The injuries have been mounting up this morning, and I think I may know someone who could umpire next year aswell.
To all those who played well done, and I think the whole match can be seen on Wimborne TV at 4.00am tomorrow morning.

Everyone's been sent it (which is a shame), but yes, it's targeted specifically at those who did their bit...To all that helped out with the period of National unrest, there is a thankyou waiting in your inbox from the Cheif Officer and a further statement of thanks from the Chief Constable.
