The good thing about Dorset is it becomes rural very quickly if you travel about 5 miles in any direction from anywhere. Unless your direction is towards the sea, in which case it becomes wet.

I suppose you'd decide if you want a beach on your patch or not!

Just to be awkward, Poole to Bournemouth is exactly 5 miles - no ruralness (don't think that's a word, but never mind!) at all! But you're not far wrong, you can get to the countryside nice and easily from pretty much anywhere. :D

I'd just like to add that my patch has one of the best beaches you'll ever find! :prone:

my patch has a boggy riverbank, a boggy common, and 3 large boggy council estates!
I gave up polishing my boots ages ago!
On the plus side there is a very good kebab shop opposite the nick!

It was at the turnpike showground near shaftesbury. Where they do the shaftesbury and gillingham show.

Can't say I can place it, but glad to hear you enjoyed the show all the same!

I feel sorry for the police dogs. Granted they are 'made' to do the job, but after after speaking to a dog handler a few weeks ago, it is not a good life while they are on 'duty' (However, the officer did take 1 or 2 of the dogs home with him which is awesome)

From what I hear, the dogs retire with the handlers and live with them, their whole lives.

Don't fancy Bridport by any chance? Could do with some more bods down our neck of the woods.

I've just added a new pinned topic giving an outline of the force medical - if anyone thinks of any additions to this post or would like to suggest other suitable items that could be pinned here, please let me know.

Out of all the potential Female/male or both characters he could have chosen to LUST after(out of the Original,TNG or Voyager) he chose.......................

The over aggressive, dwarfy KLINGON bird off Voyager .................. couldn't believe it!
