I have asked my mate who is a serving Special in Lincoln, she says that the Body Armour is a 'pool' set so, no they don't get personal issue stab vests!

OK... from memory....

You'll do the PIRT initially up at HQ.
After that it's a full medical at occ health and then an interview with a senior special, a reg Inspector and an HR rep. That will cover your motivations, qualities and integrity as well as some general Q & A about life experience and what you can bring to the force.

I don't think they do the fitness test any more, but if they do it's only 5.4 these days.

If you come through all that it will be a letter with start dates for training!

Which area are you planning to work in?

It's a position in the regulars I've applied for. I chose Lincolnshire because of the variety of areas e.g urban and rural. In West Yorkshire there are more urban than rural. And although i am currently living in West Yorkshire, i am prepared to move to lincolnshire should i be offered a position.

How are the ares split up in Lincs..?
