What do you want to know?

Its covered by M3, not sure if there are any serving M3 specials on here but i know one or two SC's who know people on M3 on here! its not as bad as it used to be my Sgt came over from M3!
What do you want to know?
M3 have picked the short straw!
Am I right in saying M3 also cover foleshill, stoke heath, bell green, henley green?
I was just wondering, because I think I am right by saying Wood End has the highest crime rate in Coventry.
If I join WMP, when I'm older, I would probably go for M3, because I have an asian background, I would probably have better relations with people in major asian communities like Foleshill, than a caucasusian officer.
Please don't accuse me of being racist, but it's probably fact.

Wouldnt accuse you of being racist more naive than anything else, im a white officer and i have never had any problems dealing with anyone from any ethnic background! its not about your colour and their colour its about how you deal with that person, im sure your right to a degree that in certain cases it is beneficial especially when there may be a language barrier etc but i am pretty sure it also might cause more problem in certain circumstances! You would probably have just failed your assessment centre question on diversity there! lol

Dont think its the worst area at all every Coventry OCU has a rough patch to some degree, i have several rough areas on my OCU! Wood End is a place that used to be rough and ready in the old days its not as bad as it used to be! do you live in Wood End?

Oh gutted, I live in Styvechale/Coundon depends if I'm with my mum or dad. Dad = styvechale, mum = coundon, we hardly ever have trouble, except once in coundon somebody robbed the wheels of the car.
Nice areas, close to town as well
Which area do you live in?
Also are you allowed to tell me your diversity question?

I went there once and most of the houses were boarded up.
Also the fact on wikipedia that the severn trent water find it inaccessable without police escort.

Lol dont use Wiki as your research database for everything, its not entirely true, yes Severn Trent have had problems with kids in the area, there are some Orrible little swines living over there but im pretty sure they dont get an escort everytime they have to go out there! Its a highly deprived area of the city with a mass of low income households and historically has been a dumping ground for people who are moved out of local authority housing across the area, like several other areas of the city! It doesnt mean the whole area is bad or more importantly that all the people in the area are bad!

Which OCU polices Wood End in Coventry?
Anybody tell me any experiences they've had there?
I spent 3 years policing Wood End, not going to kiss and tell on an open to public forum.
Its a challenging area and you certainly have an insight into other peoples lives and there attitudes to life. I'm not sure where the stats are but you'll find Little Park Street has the highest crime rate... because a lot of crimes are recorded there.
As for Wood End well not everyone is willing to give details, can't always establish if a crime has been committed if there is no complaint. Not everyone there is bad there is some very interesting characters about.
M3 is an excellent OCU with some excellent teams based there. I only left for a more dynamic challenge because NPT just didn't interest me.

It is always a better shift when there is something to do so make sure you go to an OCU that has a lot happeneing. I hear M2 is soooooo boring wonder what JW84 would say about that. Saying that my SO has gone to be a DO in M2 or M3.
