Ive not seen any on the market either. I'd take one for obvious reasons :prone:

Do the GPA sell them?

They used to sell loads of GPA stuff from pens and folders to the tie pins, they stopped though but were supposed to have got a new load of pins for the AGM they had mid this year. I have emailed them but got no reply, which is no surprise really as their internet site has been under construction for over a year, lol.

I really want a Tie Pin though now, it's getting to be a mission as I must have asked them originally for 1 back in 2007.

Even Ebay hasn't had any old one's, can anyone help?

It seems as though there may be enough interested parties to purchase them, in addition to advertising them through the LGBT unit of your respective forces - why not contact tietacs.org to have one made?

We have received a couple enquiries recently regarding a GPA pin which we would be more than pleased to produce. I too emailed the GPA sometime back regarding the idea but have yet to receive a reply. :prone:

Ring them? People can ignore/forget emails a lot easier than a person on the end of the phone.

Why not send these people an email:
http://www.thepinpeople.com/
get lots made and sell them to fellow GPA members.

Trust me, It's not free!!

In all my years in this game, I know the sales speil that pin companies give!!

Order 3,000 plus and they might throw something in for free!

Also their prices are very expensive on soft enamel.

As for getting lots made and selling them to GPA members, you would want to make sure you have permission from the GPA first! Ive known individuals to get into all sorts of legal problems doing this off their own backs.

They appear to be much sought after. The GPA need to pull their finger out and start to market them on their website that has been under construction for god knows how long!

Saying that, I've seen the odd one appear on Ebay.

What are the chances (and legalities) of you producing your own (unsanctioned, as they can't be bothered to reply) GPA pin?

Something using the same colours and a similar design, but with something like "GPA Member" on it, or something, I dunno, you'd have more idea than me.

Idea ©2010 Damsel, who'll want at least 2 free pins if you do it

Personally I wouldn't copy their logo with out their permission, highly unlikely it's copyright as nothing is registered on the IPO database but you never know.

I'd be happy to do another variation of the design but not have ' GPA ' mentioned on it as that is treading on hot water.

If the demand was there, I'd be happy to get something drawn up.

ok, so, so that we're all reading the same page. What would be a minimum production run, and what would be the price per unit? Roughly will do, I'm sure no one is going to hold you to any specific figures at this early a stage
