hi all,

does anyone know if we need to have buisness sorted on our insurance by wednesday.

i don't have it yet but am planning on doing so this week

I pretty sure thats what it said in the pack but its more so you can claim motoring expenses so I wouldnt have thought wednsday is particularly urgent.

Good luck for Wednesday... you'll love the training. It does only seem like 5 mins since we were doing it... I can't believe that was back in February!

Well then... today is the day of something new and I am looking forward to meet you all tonight. Is it me or am I looking forward to this road ahead? I wonder if there will be any PAVA's or BATON's?

Ritchie... I wouldn't describe that... don't be hard on yourself... "old" doesn't come to mind.

I have just had my 1st call of duty as a Special constable, to sign a friends passport application :-) obviuosly I had to decline as I havent even started training yet. However are attested Specials allowed to do that ?

I'm not sure, normally you have to be a proffesional to sign passport and technically a special is not.

Ofcourse I actually have no clue and could be talking absolute dribble :D

Just another question to ask this evening.

O and ritchie ARE YOU A SAINT BERNARD, there is that better you poor old def thing you. :prone: :D :D

PS do we think I can manage 70 more pages of RADAR before 6. :D

Hi Ritchie....

It was interesting last night... all the history of the Specials and the "policies".... it was good to meet all the intake.

You did well. I looked at the mneumoic too - ELBOW WSS something like that -- look at it properly today.

See you Saturday... bright and early!

It all seems to make sense right from the start, im sure a clear well kept note book would be really helpfull in court etc, can you imagine being in the dock and have a few sketchy words in your book and trying to remeber the rest under the peressure !

Did everybody enjoy the training today,

i've desided the caution should be,

"you do not have to say anything, and I would prefer if you didn't so I don't have to fill up my note book" :prone:

Hey Matt.... managed to get in last night... sit down.... and look at the caution -- NOW I woke up this morning and I can remember it - you'll ave' to test me on Wednesday!

I like you're quote about the PNB entry and caution.

Completed both but I much prefered the Hunam Rights I must say. And I cant believe I got there and came all the way back home because I forgot my human rights book and they didnt even look at them ! :D Taught me a lessonn though :prone:

I found the RADAR one a bit heavy because I had problems completing the parts where it asked you to put yourself in the same situaton and how you would feel.

Ritchie

Does anyone know how the fitness test went today ? hope they passed OK

Just thought you may find this video interesting as I mentioned it in training. Shows you can never be too careful.
