Careless driving by both parties.

What is he going to do with their insurance details though?

Make a claim for personal injury/a new bike I'd guess.

And what if they tables were turned? What if the cyclist crashed into a car and damaged it or a person and injured them? They'd claim on the cyclists insurance? Wait...

They'd claim off the cyclist himself.

Just because he has no insurance (although he might do, many cyclists do) doesn't mean he has no liability.

Well one of them caused him to crash and the other basically drove over him once he hit the road, what do you think he's going to do with the details?

Unfortunately, saddles are really personal, everyones backside is different.

A lot of people like the Charge saddles, the Spoon is supposed to be good, and cheap, but I didn't really get on with mine..

I forgot about this topic...
Well it's been a long time out of the bike for me, Ans I am now into Road bikes...
57 Miles Saturday 42 Miles Yesterday and something similar tomorrow if i can get someone to go.
One thing I am kind of struggling with is drinking, Back on the MTB it was a Camelback job or a pannier with extra bottles in.
on a road bike all i have is a wedge bag under the seat and my two bottles. was running mega low on the 57 miler the other day!

Anyone got any tips on keeping yourself hyrdrated, thing is this ride there was very little in the way of shops.
Cracking day but I want to be to cover more distance but not end up making myself sick with no water.

Another 31 miles today, Cycled through the Tyne Tunnel (first time I have ever been through it)
Still going through the water too quick.
Though From Saturday and Monday with today, I have clocked up a total of 130 miles in that 3 days. Maybe a little more as had a few issues with my GPS thing.
Almost lost it as it come out of a secure mount due to a bump in the road... Standard issue council pothole.

SDG freestyle is ok, some liner shorts might be better for you rather than a new saddle.

Finally got my mountain bike back in action on Monday after a certain shop near me *cough* Cyclone Cycles *cough* made a hash of my service and which resulted in my chain flying off after applying pressure to the pedal once!

But a £35 and a few months later an awesome company called Tredz (have a shop in Cardiff and also Swansea) serviced the brakes and gearing for me and all nice and working now, so I'm a very happy person!

(I am no way employed or endorsed by Tredz cycle shop, I'm just a very happy customer giving a recommendation to people in South Wales).

Anyone recommend a helmet for around the £30 band but can go a bit higher if need be.

I use this one it's £40 (always wanted a met one too for some reason) nice and airy and a decent fit, crossover of MTB/Road helmet so i'll be to use it on both bikes.

If you can, go to a shop, and try a few different helmets. Each brand and model will fit differently. Get one that fits and is comfortable.

48.2 miler today, and managed to get caught out in a massive storm.
Really really need to get my average speed up - don't know if I just need to go out on my own and get some circuit/laps in.
but the pace was somewhat slowed today for a few reasons..
Will have to plan a little lap I can do.

Need some help.
Looking for a lock I can use when I nip into a shop for a quick drink or snack. in line with 'Road bike logic' must be small. light.
Not looking for a huge D lock or a cable lock coiled getting in my way.
Did look at (from years back) Master Lock Street Cuffs.
(basically handcuffs for bikes) but they are £60+ but size wise would fit on seat tube or in back pockets.
but £60.. ouch.

But as per image, they are small, light and said to be quite good.
