Can any of you Grampian Guys and Girls out there tell me if you ever have to cross borders into Northern Constabulary's area, (presume grampian starts around forres brodie area on the east coast) and what the score is with juristicsion if making an arrest etc. in another forces area. Just curious to find out as just going through the process of joining Northern.

Am I to assume due to the lack of replys to this topic that there are no specials in Forres or Elgin?

I am currently going through the specials application process with Grampian and would probably be asking to be based at either Forres or Elgin...but it appears by the posts I have read on here that most of Grampians specials are in Aberdeenshire.

Somebody please tell me that I am wrong!

You are right. There is only about 15 Specials in the Moray area, most specials are either Aberdeenshire or the City.
