My partner and I are looking to spend the bank holiday weekend in Blackpool.
we have never been and thought t was something a bit different (for us anyway)
I have been looking on line for accommodation and I suddenly thought 'PS.com'
My question is: is there anyone from here who would have a room to rent for 3 nights on the forthcoming bank holiday weekend. 4th May – 7th May
Were a clean, non smoking same sex couple 26 and 28 years old and were looking for a room preferably within walking distance of the centre.
Please PM me.
Cheers

If you dont mind a bit of B&B hunting you can usually get something pretty damm cheap right near the shops and bars for £12 a night and ok too!
Unless of course your trying to get a freeby stay from the PS.Commers

Well I have booked our accommodation. We are staying at the Northern Star Hotel and apparently we get a concessionary rate for flamingos

Being local to the area means I no alot about attractions, here are some of my favourites:
Karting 2000 - Website
Tower Circus - Website
ForbiddenShow - Website (Not seen this myself as it is brand new)
Lee Raj Indian Restaurant - Review
They are just a few...feel free to PM me if you need any more info!

And ice creams and candy floss. And donkey rides of course. Ooh, and chips on the promenade.
And - we want to see the photos too.

You gotta go for a paddle, En Garde. I know it means risking the sea in that area (is it the Irish Sea??) but you gotta do it. Roll your trousers up, put a knotted hanky on your head and get your feet wet.

oh yes, pair of beige slacks, white socks and brown sandals.
over priced fish 'n chips on the promenade.
the problem with all that is short coming from Bognor Regis, it will seem like a busman’s holiday.
you know the forgotten tired and a mere shadow of its former glory.
must confess that its a bit of a nostalgia visits.
any more reconditions?

How odd, I live in Blackpool and I have just returned from a holiday where I visited Bognor Regis. I was actually staying in Gosport where bizarely enough I happened to bump into a certain MOD from this site. Just to show what a great holiday it was meeting David was the highlight (well almost).
There are far too many attractions to name here but if you've never been to Blackpool then you should visit the tower, ride the Donkeys, ride the trams, walk on the piers, visit the pleasure beach and bring lots of money.
Anything else you want me to lie about then give me shout and I'll tell you how wonderful it is.

It was odd but also kind of nice. The only other people I've met from this site are some of the Lancashire lot.

It was most pleasant during the day, quite a peaceful place given the time of year. There's quite a big Whetherspoons for such a small place, we called in for a quick pint and found it packed. I suppose it's the only thing to do/place to go during the day.
