Hi Amy, welcome to the fray!

I'm curious as to what Justin and Jon have been up to now...

Nothing, promise

Was a good night, although the 'Training Team' Drambuie's didn't really have the best effect on me.

Intox'ed myself the next day at about midday and blew 11 :D

In a way I'm glad I went home after bowls then! Training team Drambuie's might not have been the best thing.

Glad your deemed safe and responsible enough to drive the ice cream van!!! I am off to central for 2 weeks to finish off my first year of university and do some shifts, then i will be back in the valley until end of sept. You might not see me too much though for the next few weeks though because ive got myself a new job in the arndale ctr, and i will be working mega loads of hours to get the shop ready for opening! I think you should post a pic of the ice cream van in question so those who havent seen it can get the full effect!!!

Posted Image

Not only do they let me drive that, I'm allowed to drive the "real" vans too :D.

Please tell me you're not working for TK flippin' Maxx!!!

Anyway, I think you need to get yourself driving so you can be permanently stationed in the Valley and become as "local" as the rest of us!

I cant beleive this, work have just replaced our nice Astra estates with 4 of these things and now i will have to drive them on duty as well (assuming Lancaster get some)

Although as far as vans go they are okay, ours even have air con!

I prefer the hi-vis stripes on yours! Plus we dont have a cage in the back of ours.

Just don't put it in the eye you had surgery on. That is unless you had it in both.

What did you have, sight correction surgery? I looked into having that but they can't correct astigmatisms with it.

I had Lasik corrective surgery @ Ultralase in Manchester.
I had both eyes done. Had a few problems with my right eye which needed 3 operations on it.
I used to be Short sighted -5 if that means anything to you. I would not have been able to get into the police with my existing level of vision

Sounds like you'll fit in with the residents if you're that old! You'll just have to tell the rest of the Specials to keep the noise down.

Or you could play bowls outside. Sharpe is an expert!

Yes, you lost. Although you did have the knack of getting the bowls in the gutter!

Didn't know you were a diver either.

I though that was the aim of the game...
