Most of my pain is in my neck and arms, esp where i got pinched and cuffed.

I still can't move after the weekend. Every muscle in my body is killing me, I must have gone a bit too far with the punching/slapping etc!!

I came from the other group.
I still have to do my Mod 2 in May after which point i will be operational providing i get my vest in time
Really loving the training, i will be posted to Lancaster with John and another guy who could not make the DT courses.
Stef things i am a little mad as i would not release my arms on the pinching excersise so he did it about 4 times at which point i started laughing at him.
Also when we did the defence bit with the pads the trainer called us to stop so i turned away and he carried on punching me!

All good fun at the end of the day, PAVA looks evil, i will have to see how the pain compares to eye surgery.

I was not in the group with Simon and Sonya. The other guy with them was Keith.
I did most of the UDT stuff with Stef (bad choice )
I spoke to Katie from Fleetwood (i think thats was her name) who was also one of the two women that had to take me to the ground in the mock cell certinally a first for me!
I am in touch with John and hopefully will meet him next week to attend some extra training at Lancaster.

err would not class myself as skinny but i probably look small against the trainers (im 5"11') and have dark hair.

I enjoy it, it's informative, it gives you a base to build on once you do the actual work, you can't learn everything in a classroom but it does help.

Thats me. I have to climb radio masts at work hence why i get to abseil etc.

He was such a wimp! We just held on tightly to our chairs and weeped + the fact he dipped his head in water was pretty stupid.... Water aggrivated mine after we did the training with it!

No but i did my training there, last time i did my refresher i actually did it with two radio engineers from Lancs police!

I dont climb that often i mainly do my work on the ground.

Seriously though, I'm certainly up for it if we can get a few of us together.

At the moment, im at uni most of the year living in Preston so i special there, but theres 4 months during the summer holidays where i travel to Rawtenstall (the nearest lancs station to me) which is 40 mins on the bus and a fifteen min walk to the bus station from my house, so its fine for the 4 months, but would be a pain if its all the time, due to shift starting and finishing times! In my third year of uni (not this sept but next sept) I will be moving home, as rent on flats in costing me a fortune and ill only be in uni 2 days a week so I was thinking of moving to GMP and working in Bolton or Rochdale which are much closer to me.

Glad your deemed safe and responsible enough to drive the ice cream van!!! I am off to central for 2 weeks to finish off my first year of university and do some shifts, then i will be back in the valley until end of sept. You might not see me too much though for the next few weeks though because ive got myself a new job in the arndale ctr, and i will be working mega loads of hours to get the shop ready for opening! I think you should post a pic of the ice cream van in question so those who havent seen it can get the full effect!!!
