Excellent, I really enjoy watching this series mainly because it is Hampshire based. I hope we see some more of the North of the county this time

I did a duty with Pete a few months back, bused up on public order patrol. I think he's sick of people saying 'have I seen you on TV mate?'

cant say I enjoyed it due to content of programme, was not very nice to see.

on plus side, it was good to see the Detention officer and custody sarge from BB in the film as I have worked with both whilst doing training duties at BB!!!

Was working on bikes in Basingstoke and we called for assistance from the RPU, turned up with a BBC camera man! My crew mate gave an excellent interview to the camera! (uninsured driver)

Lets just hope the whole occurence didnt end up on the directors cutting room floor. If it gets aired there should be some good footage of you Roundy, Dave and Lou searching the cars as well as me, just hope I look OK on the interview bit, seem to remember I kept my cycle helmet on!!

The next episode.... Weds 22nd November BBC1 20:00hrs
Striking It Lucky: Documentary series about British traffic police, narrated by Jamie Theakston. Hampshire's keenest ticket-issuing cop hits the jackpot. [S]

This series seems to be focused around the Traffic Garage at Cosham.

What About, Winchester, Whitehill, Totton, Farnborough, Andover, Fareham????

I think that you will find that the first episode was following the Farnborough traffic officers. But yes I do agree, I think that the southern region of the county (Southampton/Portsmouth etc.) is more recognisable to the UK viewers because they are busy cities and people know where they are.

Winchester no longer have any RPU based there, moved out circa 3 months or go.

did you note that despite the two people who failed the roadside drug test being nicked. neither were prosecuted due to "Prosecution not offering any evidence"??

what was that all about? is there some sort of legal issue with this ?
