I am just trying to prepare some interview questions for next week(if i pass pirt) and would like a little advice!
Will i be asked a scenario type question relating to each of the core compentencies and will i need to speak for 5 mins at a time on each of the questions like you do for the regs??!
Will i be asked any of the following questions:
Knowledge of your chosen force and its county.
Areas or divisions of the force
The ministerial priorities for your force
Equal Opportunities
Rank structure of your force.
Strategic Plan of your chosen force
Current local and national police issues
Why do you want to become a police officer (Always a popular one)
How could the Police service be better
How would you deal with minor offences
What have you done before (past occupations etc)
Main successes
Internet (force web site - have you seen it?)
Racist/sexist behaviour. Past experiences
What could I offer
How could ethnic minorities be recruited
Most importantly
or is that all a bit in depth.......im worrying!
Dont know where to start!
How long is the interview and how many people interview you?!
Thanks loads
Em x
