Here he is next to a £2 coin!
Also a couple of pictures of my new fish tank for the Piranhas (now ready after a refurb following a trashing by a Plec too big for the tank. He has now been traded in for a smaller model, in the pictures.

I have no idea really. I've been told my ones in the tank I now have for them will grow to about 8 inches. Full size in the wild is about 12 inches I think.I like you piranhas......they are so cute...
How long do they live for?
No doubt they'll live for as long as I feed them eh?

..........as long you don't point this camera thingy in my direction.......
435??? In one week? My word.....
I have 3230 pictures in a Digital Photos folder! Don't ask - I just seem to be click happy
I think LV better order some more webspace.
And I'm afraid there will be no escape. But I'll be drinking probably - which is rare in itself, so heaven knows what the "end of the night" pictures will look like!

How many memory cards do you have to take all those photos though?
I have a hugely powerful computer and the Photo package that comes with it, Photoshop itself and a super little digital camera and I take less now than with film. Madness.

My camera is a Fuji S3500, and I bought a 256Mb card which can hold almost 2000 low res images, or 265 hi res. I normally just take low res as it's easy to put them on the computer and email. If I want a certain picture with a view to printing it, I use the hi res.Oh I love photography myself though oddly I actually take less photos now than when I did with film which is daft.

Internet Cameras Direct are fantastic. I bought the camera from them and they give you 100mb of space to upload your photos (I now have 200mb (upgraded free) after making some purchases). You can then send them images you want professionally printed or enlarged etc.

So how do I knock it down? Sorry, not familiar that side of it! I have had a couple of occasions when I wished I'd used a higher res. Normally when I post a hi res pic, you get a whole screen of an eye and have to scroll round the nose to get to the chinNaughty Mod taking this wa-a-ay of topic (sorry folks!) but I always take my pics high res and recommend everyone does. You can always knock it down for emails, but you can never bring it up after. If you want good quality enlargements, certainly at around A4, you will need the highest res you can get. Also for manipulation on your computer. True you get less per card, you just learn to be more judicious. And buy more cards.

And I do need to be more "judicious" as you put it

I shall attempt to split it (as he suggested) into a pets thread in Locker Room and a photography thread too. Well, at some stage anyway.
