You must be a serving Strathclyde officer to granted access the protected forum. However, everyone is welcome to post in this force specific forum.

How to join

If I already know you, simply PM me and I'll PM you back the password.

If I don't know you, PM me your Strathclyde email address. I'll email the password to the force email supplied so that you can gain access.

Couple of points

Please don't give other people the password yourself so we can keep track of who has access. It also makes life a lot easier if the password needs changed for some reason.

Everyone is reminded that the protected forum is not suitable for posting operational or confidential information!

Look forward to talking to you inside.

I'm not a serving officer, but can I just ask what kind of stuff is posted in the protected area which can't be posted in here?

Nothing majorly exciting but basically names, email addresses, planning of the all important night outs (locations, times etc) and anything else which we wouldn't want read by all & sundry.

That's the plan anyway.

Oh it's all secret squirrel stuff in there. Who offers the best discounts, where the best take aways are, which office has the cleanest toilets. A wealth of knowledge flooding it already.

Random question - do cops get discounts/freebies/free travel when out on duty?
Not a reason for signing up - just curious

Just to let everyone know that I've made the decision to allow serving officers in other Scottish forces access to the Strathclyde area. The same joining procedure applies, PM me if you'd like access.

Hopefully this will make the area a bit busier and who knows, we all might even learn some new things. :prone:

in case any recently absent users return and wonder why the protected forum has disappeared, it is in Semper Vigilo.
