I don't think this has been here before, so just to let people know there is apparently a risk with power cables for X-boxes made before 23rd October 2003.

I may be wrong, but I thought I heard the problem was only relating to products sold in the United States... but it doesn't hurt to check! Luckily Mr. Techie's system is not affected...

In fact, mainly here and for x-boxes produced from an earlier date than in the states.
