I woke up early because of the temperature. Just trying to workout what the coolest part of the house is, I think it's right next to the front door!

Morning everyone! Happy Sunday!
Finally found the key for the security locks on the sash windows in my room, until now I've only been able to open them a few inches, finally some fresh air and a cooler room!
Not sure what to do with my Sunday today...

Im at work... 7am to 7pm so I wont see much of the outside.
Watched Grosse Point Blank for the umpteenth time, and now watching Lifeforce, see what Netflix/Lovefilm bring about later.... all whilst working

Just back from buying a new suite, to go with the new carpet, to totally revamp the lounge. Had a bacon and mushroom toasted sandwich and now deciding whether to sit in the garden or iron.

Decided no. Mr M has informed me he will do it tomorrow. I am now contemplating wine.

Just got back from a 6 hour charity football match for Cardiomyopathy Research.
Unfortunately I've had to call it a day early as my hip gave out but the rest of the guys will be finishing in 15 minutes time.
There are 2 of the guys who have played the full 6 hours for sponsorship and if anyone wishes to sponsor them then I can send you a JustGiving link.

i have done 8 hours on duty, and am now adopting the horizontal position, making the most of what is left of my sunday.

No. I wish there was though although a breeze has got up now and I am sitting in the dark (so as not to attract insects) with all doors and windows open enjoying it.

Had thunder and lightning earlier but no actual rain.
Lovely relaxing weekend - and I've got tomorrow off too! Although I have to wait in for a 4 hour visit from the plumber. Sat in the garden with martini and ice chatting to some of my neighbours (it's a communal garden for our little block of flats), went out for an iced coffee and muffin to die for with a friend.
Good times.

Went for a early (for me) morning drive. 85 miles of coastal roads, was amazing. Only downside was deciding to take the ferry back instead of driving the 25 miles. Took me 35 minutes to get on it! Would have been quicker (and more fun) driving back.
Last day in the petrol station in the morning, last time of getting up for 0545 starts!

Worked today, however around half five the sun was low enough to make my office really pretty lovely breeze too
