Just had my CNC assessment centre yesterday, now a long 2 week wait to find out results! im worries tho because in some of my role plays i said all i could say, the role actors werent as interactive as i thought they would be and as a result i was sat in silence for a few mins. would this count against me in passing the AC??

You really want to be talking to the end...at very least recap on what you have asked. you will be missing out on marks otherwise! There are so many competency area's to tick "you will struggle to score high if you run dry"!

57% of the marks are available in the interactive exercises(role plays) alone. meaning if you score all A's in this part you will get atleast 57% overall.

Not many pass first time without any prior help so dont be too harsh on yourself if you fail. I revised for weeks and had already done it before but still only score 60%.

Good luck

Don't worry, just try not to dwell on it. I ran dry in a few of mine and got 66% overall.. And I'd convinced myself I'd failed

Cotton Bud, not exactly what I wanted to hear but thanks for the info! 60% is a pass for HO forces, i need 50% for CNC. if i get that ill be over the moon! I'm trying not to sb87, but when I ran out of things to say believing I had covered all the areas, I did recap on what I'd already said but there was still time remaining! 2 weeks to wait to find out the news..

2 weeks to wait to find out the news..

With your attitude you will master it...will be this time or next. If next time just talk for sake of talking :)

Let us know how you got on

Don't worry about running dry, I did and I passed with over 60%. If you jabber on going over and over the same stuff to fill the time your more likely to loose points for communication.

Hey!

Good luck to you Stu, PHILTHICITY and everyone else waiting for your results. Its an awefully long wait, even if it's just a day, but hang in there and never say 'never'!

Others have said that if they dont seem interactive, its because you haven't asked the right questions or suggested the right course of action! Now I dont know what to think..

Don't take any notice of what anyone else thinks, it's done now so just wait and see, also the above is also nonsense. For each of my four roles plays I asked them, what do you want me to do? They replied I don't know, I suggested a course of action and said are you happy with this? They all replied if you think that's best, I said I do, job done!

Well 3 out of 4 went like that but one was a hate incident where I started getting a bit shirty with a guy and threatened throw him out.
