Event Description: British Transport Police Special Constable Recruitment (SCOTLAND)
Special Constables assist BTP in providing an increased uniformed presence within the rail industry. They are expected to serve on a regular basis putting in at least 16 hours per month and deal with a variety of incidents and interacting with our diverse communities.
Special Constables wear the same uniform and have the same powers as Regular Officers.
Officers at the event will provide guidance on the recruitment process and training, you will also have the opportunity to speak to our serving Special constables to find out more about the role and ask any questions you have.
Closing date for applications has been extended to Tuesday 07th August 2012 and you must be available to attend the Assessment Centre on Saturday 25th August 2012.
