i am attending the induction to kick start my training on the 4th August. Is anyone else attending? I would like to know someone if not most people before i attend to help with my nerves and i am sure it will help with others just to get to know each other.

The induction can easily be done in one day but they spread it around 2 days, take money for the vending machine, it was 60p for a coffee when I was there, also there is a vending machine for snacks but the canteen will not be staffed.
The chairs are really uncomfy you will go numb very quickly lol.
Remember you are been assessed on training from Day 1 so don't make any comments you cannot support or justify. Safe learning environment until you make an out of turn comment which happened to a lad on our intake.
Don't worry about uniform cos you won't be in it until the Tuesday session just go smart casual both days.
As for role plays don't worry about it first one is just you in front of your group with your trainer giving you tasks to do, such as using search powers under PACE 1 and it goes really quick and gives you confidence, you will be working in twos as well, relax again and use your knowledge and use your partners knowledge and it will be fine.
Cannot think of anything else sure Prae will be able to give his input will just say relax and enjoy it.

Yeah, I haven't got mine either. If I don't recieve anything by Friday I'll give them a call. Hopefully it'll be Tuesday when I get mine too as well.
Yeah but I am on holiday in north Yorkshire at the moment so I can't get to my letter.

Induction weekend is the most boring weekend of the training, but it settles you in with your group.

What happened to the lad who spoke out of turn?

You will know what the force expects of you after the induction weekend and I'm sure you're more than capable of meeting their standards of acceptable conduct.

You'll be gone by 20:30 most nights, I think we ran over past 21:00 twice. Once was for the DV input and once was the final exam night because we were having an impromptu buffet in the canteen!
That's good, thanks

Think it may depend on who your trainers are, we got out before 9pm TWICE one was the lesson showing us the IT system and the other was our DV lesson!, other then that it was usually 9pm or just after.
So it really depends on who your trainer is.

Enjoy your training course! It will fly by, mine sure did! If you have DD and KL it'll be great as they are both spot on! All the trainers who help are also brilliant!
Just be yourselves and enjoy! I've just finished my PDU phase and I'm going to my NPT week after next. Good luck!

I had reason to believe you could pick PUBLIC ORDER, NPT but cannot do both is this true,
I like to do NPT AND PO mixed ?
How's the training so far
