Can anyone recommend a good HD IP wireless pan/tlit and motion tracking webcam for use as a security camera indoors? Budget of around £100 or less.

Try Axis IP Cams, not sure on their pricing but I've seen them around!

The Foscam FI8918W (£90) or Edimax IC-7010PTn (£130) look good?

Can personally recommend the Foscam - had 5 of them running on a brilliant piece of software called IP Camera Super Client.

The Foscam F18918W can be had for as little as £66 inclusive of postage from a UK authorised seller on the world famous auctions site.

Isn't it going to be tight to pull HD video over a wifi connection reliably?

Must admit, mine were hard wired over one gig ethernet.

If you're going to do it, best seeing if you can hard-wire - Wireless can cause issues and ultimately render the camera useless, Ethernet cable is cheap and you can make your own of custom length with the right tools available on eBay quite cheaply!
