I recently watched some documentaries about BOPE Brasil's Police Special Forces unit and how they pacified large parts of the favelas in Rio.

Obviously they are a para-military police unit, but it got me thinking about certain no go areas/estates in the UK,and would something similar ever work here.

Some of the public commented its just because of the Olympics and World Cup. Id be very intetrested in people who are from Brasil or those who have experienced policing in Brasil and South America. The training these officers were doing was unbelievable.

Wash your mouth out, heaven forbid the Police should upset the public. Look at Ray Mallon and his idea of zero tolerance, didn't like that did we.
