I have been having a problem over the least few days whereby, despite not reading new posts, when I click on the "new content" button, it tells me that there is no new content. On a couple of occasions it has shown up around 10 threads and on another occasion, 3 threads.

Is a MOD able to assist me with this?

Thanks

Are you sure that the content type is set to 'Forums'?
Other than that, it may be a problem with your cookies/cache; try clearing them.

Yes content is set to Forums. It's not the Cache as the same thing happens in both Chrom and Fox. Further to this, if I click on "view new content" when I am logged out, this function works. It looks like there may be something wrong with my account?

You may have a cached session and it's not recognising your logout properly. May need a MOD/Admin to take a look....

Odd, it's now only giving me three topics and they are all from the Olympics 2012 thread. Can someone please look at this - I am a lifetime Poweruser and I'd like to be able to read the forum...

On the new content page, what options do you have selected for "By time period" and "Other"? I use "By time period" - "Content I have not read" and "Other" is left unselected. If one of this has been changed it will alter the results displayed to you.

Thanks Harry, I messed around with all these settings yesterday and altered them to exactly that with no difference. However I've just spent a while doing it once again and it's back now. Very strange! Sorted though :aok:
