Evening all

Just a quick question for you all.....
I'm a serving special and i've recently applied to G4S to do some casual stewarding work. I've been invited for interview but i'm not sure in hindsight whether it would conflict with my role as a special. I wouldnt have an SIA licence in the role as its just to support SIA licenced staff.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

Ultimately the decision on whether it is a conflict of interest lies with your Chief Constable. Now I wouldn't recommend ringing him directly but you'll probably have a recruitment section or a Human Resources section and I'm sure they could tell you your forces policy on this.

Just don't turn up for your G4S duty seems to be what the media are reporting so far. You may even still get paid - who knows?
