Ive been on Immediate standby for the RNLI Flood Rescue Team all day, i was stood down earlier but i have a feeling ill be back on standby soon, if not deployed. so my weekend consists of watching TV and sitting by the phone all weekend, haha...

Mostly sleeping for some of it. Also gotta go the petrol station at some point and use my 5p off every littre voucher.

Sleep, eat, move more stuff to new place, eat again and then working late turn.

sounds good Smeders. Work for me, and the temperatures are hitting summer levels this weekend, 37C for Sat. and 41C for Sun.

Arent managers brilliant...
Just as I'm heading home yesterday I get called in to see the manageress.
The new job I applied for might be scrapped (it was a short term cover role and it turns out theres not as much to cover as they thought so it may just go to the current guys as overtime) but staying in my current role may require me to take an 8-9% pay cut as a typo on my contract has meant that I've been overpaid for the last 12 months...
It's not desirable but its manageable. At least I still have a job.
EDIT: Its going to be one of those days... At work and we went into Low Visibility Procedures (LVPs), then came out half an hour later then 20 minutes later and we've gone back into LVPs

I'm doing as little as possible. My other half and her family are off at Silverstone this weekend so I literally can just sit around doing nothing
I'll probably end up doing some house work and getting some exercise in. Got a shift on SNT tomorrow late turn which I'm looking forward to so I'll probably iron my kit.

West Yorkshire Police are having an event alongside the Fire and Ambulance services at Birkenshaw. I'll be supervising the Explorers (Equiv' of cadets).

Medical cover at a major cheerleading event in t'north today and tomorrow

Sleeping, reading, spot of house work maybe too.
I got home at 5am today after a great shift, lots of varied jobs including 3 lots of DVs. All good experience and am getting more confidence and getting more involved. Learnt how to do lots of paperwork too which is always handy!

Knackered. Got up early and ferried more stuff to the new place and unpacked it all. Then just had a very busy late turn shift - including a robbery where yours truly thought she'd spotted the perpetrators (going on initial description victim gave to police). 3 Surpol units showed up, 2 MET, one ARV and a dog unit... They were the wrong people... 
Victim was a young lad and I think suffering from shock as the description changed when he calmed down.
