Probably as slow as some of us that were there 10 years ago....Happy Birthday. Can you imagine how slow this site would of been 10 years ago!

whoop DJ time
I must say, I was disappointed this didn't make it into the top 10:
Happy Birthday PS.com. I'm sure 10 years ago my 12 year old self never expected that one day I'd apply to be a special (probably because he didn't know what one was).

We didn't have half the rooms we have now, and though the whole site wasn't as busy as it is now, Chat used to run to 20 pages or more. that used to be such fun, but we have lost so many of those posters.
Also, each and every application had to be reviewed and approved manually. Then we had a first birthday party in Stansted and that was good. But the socials we had in the early years were just amazing.

As has been said in the early days it was pretty quiet. The forum was about 2 when I joined I remember the massive daily threads, more and more new areas opening and no reputation systems at all.
There were a few odd characters about, shan't name them as they have been banned but I do remember one user who was pretty single minded on speed camera's. We had some very serious debates back then.
Of course when a thread went of the tracks you could always rely on David charging up from the rear in his 'chit chat chariot' to save the day.
Anyway, here's the stats.
As an average from the slow early days to the faster days of today we have had
1583394 posts
this equates to an average of about 433 a day
24212 members have signed up
this equates to approximately 6.5 new members every day
All in all we have got to be one of the most popular forum sites in the UK.
Happy Birthday PS.com, here's to the next 10.

Is that Dvorak's 'New World' Symphony I hear in the background?

But when I try to sign up to the NSI newsletter again I just get a webpage that states "currently fixing a bug"

The chit-chat chariot still gets an airing from time to time, too.
