It's almost 0730 and no daily thread, standards are slipping.

How is everyone?

No work for me today, my dad has come to visit me out of the blue so I'm spending the day with him. Today we're going up the road to Windermere. He's never been! Should be a nice day out and Ruby the dog can come too.

Got my medical form signed by my GP yesterday. Very impressed with the service - they told me it would take a week and cost me £15, instead it took 4 hours and was free! Woohoo!

I do enjoy my job, sometimes however it can be a bit repetative and boring. Joys of working in a call centre. Thankfully it's inbound calls though, outbound would do my nut in!

My medical form cost £25 and took 14 days!

Surprisingly it will! Have a look at BBC Weather, highs of 28 degrees at about 1600hrs and a warm night!

However I will be missing all this and heading for Welwyn in Hertfordshire where it will be a mere 27 degrees

Mine took a day and was free, the opticians got me for £10 though. Got to pay for the newly renovated practice somehow I suppose!
