Having done a few years now and having kept up to date with most things in the job does anyone have any experience with online learning for police (Not Ncalt), such as Blackstones or similar to it?
Is it any good or better to learn / pick up things rather than reading from a book?
Just curious as I thought I would give online a try rather than just buying books.

Depends on your style of learning. I find it harder to process information by reading text from a computer screen than from a book. I also find I get distracted more easily when on the computer as opposed to reading a book.

I found having something printed on paper much easier to read. Where as a computer screen made it quite hard.

I have the Police Operational Handbook by Blackstones. I did look at online but it seems really expensive or at least more than I can afford at the moment!
