I have my Day 1 on Friday but because of exams I only managed to start preparing from last night! (Exams finished now)

Do I honestly stand a chance of succeeding Day 1 interview on Friday or should I opt to postpone?

Yes, of course you do. It's not that hard.

You'll find if you phone tomorrow (number in application process thread) you'll more than likely give you result over phone.

Yes just make sure you revise your competencies **and DON'T take any notes into Hendon with you. They don't like you reading them in the waiting room as you're under exam conditions.

** what follows applied when I attended Hendon in May. (to clear up confusion)

Feel free to take any prep notes with you. They're fine with that. They simply make people leave their notes in the waiting room once they call your group through to the test/interview area.

They quite understand that people like to revise on their way to Hendon and whilst waiting. Thus why you are free to bring your notes with you but are asked to leave them in the waiting area once called. If you were not permitted to bring them, rest assured they'd tell you beforehand.
Good luck!

Don't worry too much about it. If you are sensible and switched on you will get through with or without much preparation. If you are a dumbass you won't get through however much preparation you do.

I didn't prepare, but then I've done lots of interviewing on both sides of the chair. Some people need to prep, others don't. If you're the sort that does, then you should, if not, wing it :aok:

I forget if the woman at the support session said exam conditions once we enter Hendon. Something on here said so too but MetPaul makes sense with what he says about notification beforehand.

Thanks guys. Thanks Numpty and WAID

Hopefully your question has been answered. We've got a big thread dedicated to Day 1 and Day 2 where you might find additional support.
