Hi all
I've got my fitness test soon which I am not to worried about as I'm quite an active guy, but if I was to be successful, what happens next.
I'm sure I read that there is an interview but i don't know.
Please help as I like to plan as far forward as possible.

Thanks

Nope.

When I did mine 2 years ago the fitness test was the last thing you have to attend before uniform fitting.

The only 'interview' is the competancy based one on the same day as the written assessments.

However, internally there is vetting and referencing to complete.

There is also the medical screening on the same day as the fitness test.

Basically this involves completing a medical form at home, and handing it in before you go off to do your fitness test - you should be given the medical form when you receive a date for your fitness test.

When you have successfully completed your fitness test, you will then have a chat with the Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) about any health concerns (she will have your form in front of her).

The next stage (a few weeks later back at force HQ) will be the final medical with the OHN, where you will undergo a number of tests including hearing test, lung function test, blood pressure check, BMI check. You will also be required to provide a urine sample - you should know on the day if you have passed the medical.

By the way, congratulations on passing the assessment centre and all the best with the rest of the recruitment process :aok:
