First post and a positive one too.

Got the phone call from Shirley on Friday and should get my letter tomorrow (pesky double bank holiday..!) Apparently my training should start 21st June. Its daft really, i'm more apprehensive about the training the interview, the medical or the test. Still can't wait and as Sefton are short on numbers I will get my first choice station too (Crosby)!

All is good....and I still have a week off work too!

Congrats, I got a call last week too. I've been asked to bring my medical forward to, tomorrow. Apparenlty my file is looking good and if I can get through the medical I too will be on the 21st June intake. I'm not expeciing much though to be honest as vetting isn't complete yet - but the lady in HR has said she will be working on my file to do her best to get me in for 21st June if I pass the medical. Fingers crossed.

Well done guys.

I have just recently had my attestation after 2 months training with Merpol. I thoroughly enjoyed training and made some great friends! In fact, I'm missing it! Although working 9am-5pm 5 days a week and training at weekends was an absolute killer at times lol.
