No not Pussy cat's.
Spent the afternoon marking catalitic converters mainly on 4x4's.
We have had a spate of thefts over the last few weeks so am trying to do something about it.
Had a good response with 18 done in 3 hours,at it again in the morning..

That sounds like a job well done, mate!
Have the thefts been similar cars? Or just random?

we had 13 thefts in a 3 day period, mainly 4x4 as they are easy to crawl under, apparently takes about one min to cut them off for a £200 profit.
Did another 12 on sat morning,,going to try set something up in Selby in the near future totally special led, just need a friendly garage who will let us use their ramp.
Possative feed back from the peole who came and beeing a rural area should be plenty of interest in future ops.

Sounds like a well planned campaign. Was the whole job run by SCs?

yes all my own work, im on restricted duties at the moment so have had plenty of time on my hands and it has given me something to focus on.
We have a chap who organises all the poster printing and press contact,so i have only had to give him locations and times and he sorts it out.
I have visited the garages and got them onboard, then distributed the posters with the help of local SNT officers.
Good team effort which is how it is in Selby.
OP is next Sat so will post the results then.

Operation run at two local garages by two teams of Specials.
A good response with 41 cats marked in a 4 hour period, the garages were all for it and looked after us well with plenty of Tea Breaks.
Starting to sort out next Op in Tadcaster.
