It's coming though newark today, but mainly want to see it for the met cars.

Only saw a couple of similar but different cars, it's the gold and white beemers that stand out!

is this a stupid suggestion but why havent they put up rope barriers in Croydon town centre? Surely this will be more safe?

Plus no live footage, apparently the BBC must be using O2!

Katie, our producer in Croydon, has confirmed the problematic signal is down to the large crowd numbers, using the available 3G signal

I saw the torch for the second time this morning. I saw it in the New Forest a couple of weeks ago and then again this morning in Kingston.

I actually found myself getting excited about the Olympics earlier when I saw the flame near Hyde Park today! I had no idea the procession was so long!

Well done to all the MET torch team for a successful and safe relay :)

Was delayed getting home from work went it past down Whitehall but got a good view.

Ahem. What about all the cops that the MET have had to call in on mutual aid to assist them with the torch relay?

i think it was a thanks to the officers who have followed it around the country for the past couple of months :)

Of course there is a big thank you to all those officers in London on mutual aid, that goes without saying :)
