Are there provisions/discounts/exemptions in Cambridgeshire for Police/Specials/PCSO's travelling on public transport?

Not sure about the bus etc but you don't get free rail travel - contrary to popular belief :new_shades:

As far as I'm aware some bus providers (whippet, stagecoach) still grant free travel to warrant card holders. That said the expectation is that if an incident were to occur on a bus you will be expected to step in and sort it out. If you feel comfortable then fine but if you aren't don't use it, not trying to put you off but of course the buck will always end with you.

That said if your safety is under threat then you shouldn't be getting involved anyway.

Thats how things were a while ago. Not sure if it has changed recently. The train is a big NO, I should expect more than one has fallen foul of it.
