木曜日 is Thursday in Japanese if you were wondering... :saint:

Delirium tremens followed by firearms? Is that safe?

Morning all. Another rainy, windy one today. Got my second Hepatitis jab this morning. I think I'll treat myself to some sushi for lunch today to "make me feel better"

Seriously considering my future as a special after an encounter with one of the sgts yesterday. I wouldn't speak to anyone the way he spoke to me so they can stick it. I do the most duty hours than anyone else in my station because I enjoy what I do. It just turns out that because I enjoy response and dislike community work I'm being penalised.

Never been so angry in my life.

I have a day off work today! I have my medical today at 3pm for Lancs. Excited! After this I'll hopefully get confirmation that I've been approved to start training next Friday!
Have a lovely day everyone :saint:

CSC, You will get that in any job you work for. I have had complaints about me from sgts before as off the record they stated to me that "they didn't like the amount of work I brought in"

But if you give up, they win. So you would lose out, and I dont like losing!

Don't lose heart, ask them if they know the meaning of the word VOLUNTEER, that usually does the trick!

Don't make any rash decision, you said yourself you do it because you enjoy it, why give up something you enjoy. Don't let them win.

Don't get disheartened CSC1, you enjoy what you do and you probably do it well. I think you would regret giving up on something you really enjoy. Just put this one down to experience and move on with your head held high.

Ahh, been there, done that, got the T-Shirt. Almost up to the point where it felt like I was being backed into a corner where my only realistic option would be to hand in my warrant card.

However, that was 5 years ago, and I came out fighting. And I'm still there and enjoying it more and more.

In Avon & Somerset, a lot of specials left because they were almost forced onto NPT, A&S learned from that mistake though, and went from a position of "All specials should go onto neighbourhood teams" via "All specials must go onto neighbourhood teams and not response" to "All specials can do response if they want to"

Don't let 'em get you down, it's the police, give it another 10 minutes and it'll all change anyway :new_yes:

Babelfish actually Damsil... :p

Don't give up CSC! Everyone has a bad day - he's just one sarge in a sea of nice bods, not everyone thinks like that. Lots of people think that PCSOs are CHIMPS - but my sarge definitely doesn't which is nice.

Me got exceedingly wet today. Then I dried off a bit... Then I got drenched...

My car passed it's MOT though - but with all the little things they had to do it was nearly £400! :aok:
Except both rear tyres have perished so I need to get them changed before I do any long journeys, ie in 2 weeks time... :aok:
