HI I HAVE PASSED THE BTP ASSESSMENT BUT WAS TOO LATE FOR THE INTAKE FOR MAY 2012, I AM ON THEIR LIST FOR 12 MONTHS, DOES ANYONE ELSE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE AND IF THEY HAD AN INTAKE LATER ON?

If its London areas - they have just put out another recruitment drive, so if you've passed assessment and are now in a pool - I would hope they would have a job for you soon!

Hiya,
You probably already know but i think the next intake is July this year. I had my assessment on Saturday and passed, i am just waiting on a date for my medical and security checks are being carried out now hopefully. My boyfriend heard staff talking at the assessment centre and apparently they said the training for new recruits will start on 8th July, but then i was talking to someone else on here who spoke to the recruitment department and they advised it would be 30th July?
Either way, it should be July hopefully

It depends on how many people are on the intakes. When i was training as a PC, we shared the training school with another intake ( 79 students combined ) and various courses were run alongside as well. At a point, we were about 120 people or more at the training school.

Do you guys know where you're going after training? I know we'll be losing quite a few of our PCSOs with the internal PC recruitment.
